The story behind The Military Spouse Show, the community we’ve built, and the mission that continues to guide us.
Originally launched as Navy Wife Radio in 2007, The Military Spouse Show has spent nearly two decades helping military spouses navigate military life, pursue meaningful goals, and build what’s next beyond military service.
What began as a podcast during the early days of podcasting has evolved into a platform focused on connection, personal growth, leadership, entrepreneurship, and intentional living.
Through more than 200 podcast episodes, community events, speaking engagements, and coaching conversations, Wendy Poling and Dr. Krista Wells have created opportunities for military spouses to connect, learn, and grow through every season of military life.
Today, The Military Spouse Show continues that mission by sharing practical conversations, actionable insights, and encouraging stories that help military spouses build meaningful lives, careers, and communities wherever military service takes them.

Krista Wells, PhD, is a coach, speaker, author, and co-host of The Military Spouse Show. Since 2004, she has helped military spouses gain clarity, confidence, and momentum in their relationships, goals, careers, and personal growth. She’s helped hundreds of overachievers navigate career and life changes and create the life they’ve always wanted. Through one-on-one coaching, Zoom workshops, and public speaking, Krista helps people just like you get to where they want to be, faster.

Wendy Poling
Wendy is the founder of My Military Life, a speaker, writer, and co-host of The Military Spouse Show. Combining experience in strategic communications, creator partnerships, entrepreneurship, and military advocacy, she helps others transform ideas into opportunities. Over the past two decades, she has built communities, created content, developed programs, and produced events that empower military-connected individuals to pursue meaningful goals, build portable careers, and create what’s next. Today, her work centers on helping creators and entrepreneurs transform their expertise into platforms, products, partnerships, and new opportunities.
